The World As Bec Sees It was founded in 2015 by Rebecca “Bec” Smith, an avid traveler with a dream of sharing her love for the world with fellow adventurers. What started as a personal travel blog has since grown into a comprehensive travel and tourism resource, reaching thousands of readers each month.

Rebecca’s passion for travel began at a young age, inspired by family trips around Europe. After completing her degree in Journalism at the University of Manchester, she decided to combine her skills in writing with her love for exploring new places. With a backpack and a notebook, Bec embarked on her journey around the world, documenting her experiences and sharing tips along the way.
